LAPP Reporting System

At LAPP, compliance and integrity, and consequent lawful conduct, are top priorities. Therefore, it is essential to identify risks at an early stage and prevent them proactively. The reporting system is an essential tool for providing and investigating information about risks and inappropriate conduct. The LAPP reporting system allows us to identify possible risks and bad practices, both within LAPP and among our business partners or other associated companies. This system is available for reporting information or substantiated suspicions about actual or potential violations occurring in the professional context. This way, a breach can be dealt with quickly and objectively, and the necessary corrective measures can be implemented – not only for this particular breach, but also to prevent future breaches. The complainant must, however, ensure, in good faith and according to his conscience, that the information is true. If the report involves the disclosure of a trade secret, the reporting party must have reasonable grounds to believe that disclosure is essential to exposing the violation. All reports received are systematically analyzed, and appropriate follow-up measures are taken if necessary.

How do we process your report?

After submitting your report, you will receive confirmation of receipt. LAPP’s reporting system ensures that each report is treated confidentially and rigorously. An investigation will only be initiated after an initial assessment (plausibility and validity check) that indicates the existence of a legitimate suspicion of violation. We follow the principle of fair process, which ensures maximum protection for both whistleblowers and the people involved and for employees who help clarify the conduct reported. LAPP does not tolerate any type of discrimination against whistleblowers or anyone who contributes to investigations. The persons implicated are considered innocent until the violation is proven. Investigations are conducted with complete confidentiality.

What types of reports are useful?

Risks, suspicions and violations of laws, voluntary company commitments and internal regulations can be reported. This also includes violations of human rights and environmental obligations within the scope of the company’s activities and the supply chain, directly or indirectly. The reporting system can also be used to raise compliance concerns. However, the reporting system should not be used for feedback or complaints about products or services from LAPP or our business partners. If you have any dissatisfaction with our products or services, please contact Customer Service or your usual contact.

Would you like to submit a confidential report or have a compliance question?

LAPP’s reporting system, through the online platform, offers a free internal channel to report inappropriate conduct or ask questions about compliance. You can submit information about inappropriate conduct in several languages and, if you prefer, anonymously.
